Why we love Warm Beach...

Simple Living

On a Beautiful Bay

With Caring Friends
& Neighbors

The Warm Beach Community Association (WBCA) is a membership organization for residents and friends of Warm Beach, a neighborhood in the Stanwood, Washington, area. WBCA promotes neighborhood fellowship, a safe community, our neighborhood WBCA Park, and family activities.

Our signature event, Summerfest, a good old-fashioned day of family-oriented fun, is nearly as old as the organization. Activities at Summerfest have included BINGO, chicken poop BINGO, Treasurefest (a neighborhood yard sale), bake sale, food service, vendors, silent auction, and in 2023 we added the first Annual WBCA Pickleball Tournament. Summerfest is the major annual fundraiser for WBCA and a fun day at the park for members, neighbors, friends, and family.

The WBCA Park is available to members and the public for special events at very reasonable rates. We plan to expand the facilities at the park, perhaps incorporating more play and athletic options and enlarging our park building to allow for more indoor activities such as speaker series or educational presentations. In 2022, we added two Pickle Ball Courts and a half court Basket Ball Court to the Park offerings because of a generous donation from a member family.

Besides Summerfest, our yearly events include the general membership potluck & annual meeting, an Easter egg hunt, a member appreciation barbecue, a Halloween Bonfire with pumpkin carving contest, and Christmas caroling at the park. WBCA also sponsors a monthly Bunko get-together at the Stanwood Fire Department Station 97 near Warm Beach.

WBCA also engages in activities that help create a safer community, such as Neighborhood Watch. Being on the Puget Sound, we encourage members to be good stewards of the beach and the neighborhood.

The WBCA is governed by a board of trustees of nine members with terms of three years each. We annually elect officers from the board of trustees to serve a one-year term for President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The officer election occurs at the board meeting immediately following the January annual general membership meeting.
