Warm Beach Community Association

Where friends and neighbors come together

WBCA History

A Little History

Warm Beach Community Association (WBCA) was formed in 1986 and Archie Anderson was elected as our first Board President. In 1988, WBCA applied for Articles of Incorporation, organizing as a 501(c)4 non-profit association. In the mid-1990s WBCA purchased the land on 94th Avenue next to the Warm Beach Water Association’s property and lots across the street for our WBCA Park and parking lot. WBCA purchased properties with funds from annual fund raisers like Summerfest, Bistro dinners, auctions, membership fees, and various other donations.

The WBCA also reached an agreement with the Warm Beach Water Association to clear their property, plant grass, and maintain the property in exchange for the non-exclusive use of the land for Park activities. In 2018, when the Warm Beach Water Association was acquired by PUD and an agreement was reached with PUD to continue the use of that land in exchange for maintenance of it.

For over 30 years, the Warm Beach Community Association (formerly Warm Beach Community Club) has made it its mission to promote neighborhood fellowship, a safe and secure community, our WBCA Park and family activities.

The organization has sponsored a wide range of activities for members and the broader community. Our activities center on our goal of building community by providing opportunities to get together as neighbors and have some fun.
