WBCA Pickleball
In 2022, thanks to an extremely generous donation by residents, WBCA was able to add an outdoor Pickleball Court to our Park and it has quickly become one of our Park’s most attractive features.
For those of you who have never played, Pickleball is a fun, fast-paced sport in which two to four players hit a perforated hollow plastic ball over a 34-inch-high net in the middle of the court using solid-faced paddles. It’s a little bit of tennis, ping-pong & badminton all rolled into one to entice friendly competition, smiles, and laughter.
Pickleball has simple rules that make it easy for beginners to learn. There are countless videos online you can watch that are geared toward teaching Pickleball to beginners and when you are ready, the Court is waiting for you.
The WBCA pickleball courts are private for use by WBCA members and their families.
WBCA uses Playtime Scheduler https://playtimescheduler.com/login.php to allow groups to form and meet up to play but does not reserve the courts. The courts are available on a first come first served basis.
